What are Injectables Botox/Dysport?

How it Works
Botox/Dysport Injectables work in a controlled and deliberate way to temporarily relax muscles. The skin that lays atop the relaxed muscle smooths over to eliminate the signs of wrinkles. After the initial consultation, your skin is mapped for appropriate placement of injections. Once the treatment site is cleaned, the medication is administered, with ice applied post-treatment. Expect follow-up calls at day three and day seven. Touch ups are not uncommon seven days post-treatment.
What to Expect
Downtime is 4 hrs. During that period patients are advised not to lay down, touch site, avoid sun exposure, and excessive sweating. Injection areas can be raised immediately post-injection and can last up to 30 minutes. Occasionally bruising can occur that can last 24-48 hours. Results of medication can be expected between 2 – 7 days, where you will notice tightness and reduced muscle movement.
